Ankeny Vineyard

Three-panel mural (8'x12') to be installed on exterior gable of vineyard building. The image features vineyard dog, Hershy, namesake of Hershy's Red Pinot Noir.

Fireplace surround

This showroom fireplace is faux painted drywall designed to hide the three built-in speakers for the flat screen TV located above. The faux marble and raised limestone panels create a convincing illusion.

Theatre room installation

The theatre room in this electronics business features an installed panel designed with metallic gold paint and flat acryclic to look like a carved gilt plaster. The pilasters on either side have a faux marble treatment.

Comedy & Tragedy

Three individual panels are installed on the soffit of this showroom theatre room. The large projection screen will be installed beneath the panels.

Wine Bar

The subtle decorative painting in this wine bar took it's inspiration from the wine label produced by the owner.

Classroom Windows

A windowless classroom at Willamette University was "opened" to a campus view with the installation of these two murals painted on panels.

Desert Oasis

A window niche in a client's bathroom had been walled off due to an addition to the home. An open casement window with a view of a desert oasis including palm trees and camels was reqested by the owner.

The inviting store front was designed by Artisan Murals.

The signage for this women's boutique is done on MDO panels mounted on the concrete wall

Modified Logo

Acrylic on 4'x8'canvas. This sign is a backdrop for the storefront window display.

Painted Door

A kitchen door which leads to a basement, is painted to look like an open cellar door.

Customized Kitchen

The trompe l'oeil urn and grape vines coordinate with the custom designed curtains.

Still Life

The shelf is real but the lattice, plate and jug of olive oil are all painted illusions.

This closeup view shows how the painted pedestal takes advantage of the actual baseboard treatment.

MRI Suite

This potentially claustrophobic hospital MRI suite benefited from the "fresh air" effect created by a large mural. The view is that of the surrounding countryside. Architectural features echo those found in the main lobby.

The bird perched on the ledge helps the open air illusion.

Wine Cellar Windows

This residential wine cellar was enhanced with arched windows and doorways that revealed a spectacular vineyard view. The trompe l'oeil terrace tiles and wrought iron railing coordinate with real design features in the house

Spanish Steps

The stone window surround matches the four painted windows in the tasting room. The image of the Spanish Steps in Rome was a request of the client.

Lavender Fields

This painted window replicates the woodwork surround on an existing window in this bathroom. The lavender field scene was requested by the owner.

Cafe Windows

This series of "windows" adorns a previously blank cafe wall. The view through the windows emulates the pastoral countryside of the Willamette Valley.

Sign

Custom designed, hand-painted cafe sign.

Seascape

Portal seascape flanked by faux pillars and topped by painted leaded glass transom window. The window matches existing architectual windows in this master bath.

This painted window helps unite the Seascape mural with the rest of the Master Bath's architectural features.

DoorwayToVineyard

Open doors let air and light into this subterranean wine cellar. The double doors and hardware match an existing door that leads to actual cellar (visible to the right).

Calligraphy

Small painted accents personalize and add elegance to the space above a doorway.

MountainVineyardVista

This load bearing wall blocked the homeowner's grand view. The solution was to create a trompe l'oeil terrace and outdoor vista.

Accent

The walls in this foyer now echo the limestone tile floor. The trailing ivy vine is a combination of stencil and free-hand.

Modified Graphic

A corporate designed graphic was modified to suit a local franchise.

Accent Graphic

An accent wall in a women's fitness club borrows imagery from the larger graphic.
